Our team is led by our board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Gregory Hoover, MD, who treats adolescent and adult patients and has more than 20 years experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves of the body. Biography:

Dr. Hoover’s strong christian upbringing is reflective in his old fashioned approach to patient care. Personal integrity and attentive customer service is a top priority for Dr. Hoover. That’s why he makes it a priority to sit and listen to his patients in order to provide a unique and personalized plan of care for each individual person.

Dr. Hoover brings a strong sports medicine background to East Tennessee, caring for adolescent and adult to Olympic and professional athletes throughout his career. He pairs his clinical expertise with advanced technologies and the latest treatments to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Hoover is committed to maintaining expertise in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, so he regularly takes courses to keep up with the latest advances in medical management and surgical techniques.

A native of Crossville, Tennessee, Dr. Hoover graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. While completing his internship and residency in Texas, he also was the team physician for the Houston Aeros hockey team, and was Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Sugar Land Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Hoover received numerous awards during his training and has several publications to his credit.
